Hello again!

I'm so sorry I took so long to update this journal. Anyway, are you ready for another pack?! I sure hope so!

The idea for the next pack came from =Sweetheart-Hikari!

Basically you are going to create a scene in which there is mostly water in your render, but this does not mean you cannot have any land, and obviously the atmosphere is going to play a major role this time around since you aren't required to do much or any work with land!

Here are some examples:



Requirements

You are allowed to submit two pieces, if you collaborate with someone or more than two people, the piece that is submitted will be considered as one submission for all of the members that worked on that piece!


Your submission should be 1200px on its longest side, of course you should render it at a larger size and resize down to improve the quality of your image, though.


DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR PIECE ONTO DA UNTIL AFTER THE ART PACK HAS BEEN POSTED!! If you do, your submission will not be accepted!


Please don't place a border/watermark on the image you're submitting, just send the render! You can, of course...put a border/watermark on your submission when you're uploading your work onto dA.

Hello everyone!

I'm terribly sorry about the long-period of inactivity. The club is not 'dead' nor is it going to be inactive for that much longer. I will never forget about this account so you'll never see anything like "last visit: 8 months ago".

I will update this journal once again next month with an announcement about the next pack!

I know school starts soon for some, but hopefully you can still participate!

Hello there terragenists!

The latest artpack is now being released! Even though we had to extend the deadline for the pack, we couldn't include all of the submissions because apparently following a few guidelines has proven difficult for some, even though we let one slide...which won't happen again.

Anyway, here is the latest artpack which was put together by ~Ron1649!

UPDATE - April 27, 2009

Due to the fact that there are only four submissions for the pack, and since the deadline is May 2, the pack's deadline will be extended to May 31, 2009, which is also the deadline for =FraCult's pack. With an extension, there should be no one saying there was "no time"!

Hello everyone!

Well, are you all ready for a new pack?! You all better be!

It's going to be one that anyone can participate in. There is a lot of room to be extremely creative in this upcoming pack, so there is no excuse to not participate!

You are to create an alien-like landscape. Now, what is an alien-like landscape?! That's up to you to decide! Whether Mars comes to mind, the Moon, or something else, it doesn't matter! Just create something unique, and beautiful! This is rather simple, so there should be plenty of submissions, even two from everybody! But of course, one is good enough!

Also, as always, post work is always accepted! Especially now!

Due date for submissions: May 2, 2009

You should have enough time to make at least one image for submission. Have fun!

Rules/Requirements
Please make sure that your submission shows some effort. We'd like to create an artpack of quality images! Not all images will appear in the pack.
